31 Flavors of Steel to Draw: Promptober 2025

In October 2025, with the release of Draw Steel (and a year of playtesting) inspiring me to get started making my own material for the game, I made 31 different homebrews in different areas of the rules — one every day — based on prompts created by Sin Posadas/Diwata ng Manil. But they were all scattered around my Bluesky and Discord threads, so here they are, compiled into one place with cleaned-up text and presentation, balance and design revisions, and a Forge Steel sourcebook* for you to use!

This packet includes the following:

• Two standalone ancestry traits
• Two standalone heroic abilities for Elementalist and Talent
• Three complications
• One (partial) domain
• One downtime project
• Three titles
• Four consumables
• Four leveled treasures
• Two montage challenges (and rules for what that means)
• Four monsters: a minion, a horde, and two solos
• Three dynamic arenas (and rules for what that means)
• Two dynamic terrain objects

* I didn't include the new ancestry traits or class abilities, as that would require copying the entire relevant ancestry/class just to add them, and I don't want to clutter your interface with almost-identical duplicates. You can use the Customize menu to add them onto your character sheet if needed!
