NEON//SPDR
A downloadable solo cyberpunk RPG
NEON//SPDR is a cyberpunk tabletop roleplaying game for one player. You play as a Spider, a criminal fixer and power broker, in the cyberpunk dystopia of Neon City. Manage crews of Runners, plan hits and heists, and weasel your way out of consequences as you rise through a chromed-out underworld. In this life, you either cash out, or you burn out...and either way, they'll probably name a drink after you.
You'll need various RPG dice (d4s, d6s, d8s, and d10s) and your imagination, as well as a document or journal to track your progress and notecards to use in play.
This game was written as a prototype for the 2024 One-Page RPG Jam. A full version is in the works, so please share your feedback and hopes for the game!

hi, I’m new to solo rpg and this will be my first one. I’m somewhat confused on the system. Is this rpg based on an existing solo rpg system like a hack of something or pbta, etc? I’m very interested in learning how to play I just need a little help understanding.
It's not based on anything in particular, although it is heavily inspired by PbtA/FitD games, especially Blades in the Dark. You can just play it as written, generally following the steps in order. It's probably best played as a journalling game, using the prompts and dice results to guide the fiction as you write, but you can use them however they make sense to you.
I myself had never played or been interested in a solo RPG until I saw Grey Moon Rising a few years ago, so I would recommend that one if you're bouncing off of this one! It also inspired another game of mine with similar vibes.
Let me know if you have any questions about specific mechanics or the process of play, I'll be happy to answer.
